2026 Global Scholars Programs
The Geotrac Foundation architects Global Scholars programs, signature immersive experiences where students become field researchers, community learners, and emerging leaders. Funded by Geotrac Foundation, each program places high school students in authentic environments where they investigate real challenges, engage across cultures, and discover what’s possible.
This is learning rooted in place, driven by inquiry, and powered by real-world discovery.

The Global Scholar Experience
Guided journaling is a core part of how students process and deepen their experience. In fast-moving, immersive environments, it’s easy to observe without truly understanding. Writing slows that down. It helps students reflect on what they are seeing, question what they are learning, and begin to connect new ideas to their own values and decisions. Journaling builds clarity, self-awareness, and ownership of the experience — turning a trip into something far more lasting: a personal framework for how they think, lead and engage with the world moving forward.
